One of the things we have been trying to teach our kids (and ourselves) since day one is the virtue of patience. The wonderful gift of being able to wait. The ability to nurture your wishes until they finally flourish, no matter how long this may take. It is easier said than done though, in our era of non-stop entertainment and instant gratification.
