Тoday I finally decided to put on e-paper one of the greatest mysteries which has been tormenting me for years – where do birds go when they die? We’ve been living in houses with gardens since 2006, and for this same period of time we’ve wandered through endless flatlands and mountains abundant with fauna. There are literally millions of birds out there that hatch, embellish our world and then retreat to the birds’ paradise but what happens with their remains?

ode for the soap

When I was little all we had for hands and body washing  was reduced to water and soap. No fancy bottles, scented colours or specialised beauty products of any kind. The oval gently scented white soaps in our apartment in the city, and the big uneven evil-smelling knobs of homemade soap in our grandparents’ village house.

about trees and nature

One of the things I can bear the least in this world is cutting of trees and disregard for nature. Destroying a healthy tree for any purpose other than preventing an immediate danger has always been at the front row of my personal Hall of Eternal Shame. Trees are source of life so we must either take care of them or leave them in peace.
